F Series Parallel Shaft Helical Gear Unit FAQ

Common questions about the F Series are collected below. For deeper content, follow the linked technical resources.

FAQ

What is the main difference of the F Series?

The F Series is primarily defined by its parallel-shaft layout and is intended for compact drives where axial space or machine layout favors a parallel-shaft arrangement.

What power range does the F Series cover?

The cleaned reference range is 0.12–200 kW, but the selectable power depends on size, ratio, input speed and duty.

What ratio range is available?

The cleaned series-level reference range is approximately 3.70–281.71. Use the detailed selection table for a specific power and size.

Can I select a gearbox only by motor power?

No. Power must be evaluated together with input speed, required ratio/output speed, output torque, service factor, mounting and external loads.

Can it directly replace another brand with the same size code?

Not automatically. Direct replacement requires a dimension-by-dimension mounting and interface comparison plus a performance check.

Does oil quantity stay the same in every mounting position?

No. Oil quantity can change with mounting position and configuration.

Need a gearbox configuration for your machine?

Send the required motor power, input speed, target output speed or ratio, expected output torque, mounting arrangement, and any installation drawing available. CHINFAR can use these inputs to narrow the R/F/K/S configuration before final engineering confirmation.
