What Data Is Needed Before Selecting an Industrial Gearbox?

DCY series bevel-cylindrical gear reducer

Motor power alone is not enough. Prepare input power and speed, required output speed, duty cycle, output torque, shock, radial and axial loads, mounting interfaces, ambient conditions and cooling requirements before choosing an H/B, DCY, P-series or other industrial gearbox.

The basic input set includes power and speed, torque or working-machine load, hours per day, starts, reversing, shock, shaft-load location, mounting direction, environment, quantity, inspection documents and target delivery. H-series enquiries should explain the parallel-shaft layout; B-series enquiries should show right-angle direction and output orientation; P-series enquiries should include coaxial space, output connection, heat and service access.

For a retrofit, add the nameplate, general arrangement, shaft dimensions, foot or flange details, coupling and site photographs. If information is missing, CHENGFA can issue a focused gap list instead of proposing a model from appearance alone. Contact sales@chinfar.com.
