R series helical geared motor

First determine whether the heat is accompanied by abnormal noise, vibration, oil leakage, burning smell or unusual current. Then check load, start frequency, lubrication, alignment, ambient conditions and the motor's electrical state. Stop the machine immediately if there is smoke, violent noise or rapidly uncontrolled heating.

SymptomPossible directionFirst check
rapid heating under loadoverload, blockage, undersizingcurrent and driven machine
heating after repeated startsexcessive starts or inertiacycle and control logic
local hot spotlubrication, bearing or mesh issueoil, noise and vibration
heating after installationmisalignment or forced mountingbase, coupling and shaft load
high ambient heatingrestricted cooling or thermal limitairflow, ambient and duty

Isolate power safely before inspecting oil level, leakage, venting, couplings, belts or chains. Provide the nameplate, running video, current, load, operating hours, ambient temperature and lubricant record to sales@chinfar.com for remote review.
