How to Improve On-Time Gearbox Delivery | Six Pre-Order Checks
Author: HUIGUANG × CHENGFA Transmission Technical Team · Updated: 2026-08-11

The most effective way to improve delivery reliability is to confirm the technical boundary, quantity, inspection, packing, transport and change process before an order is released. Internal records for the latest rolling 12 months show an on-time delivery rate above 98% for the joint manufacturing system; this result is supported by milestone control, not an unconditional lead-time promise.
- Confirm the product, power, ratio, torque, duty, mounting and environment. Replacement or custom projects must add interface dimensions, the original unit's problems and the target performance.
- Freeze the model, interfaces, accessories and special requirements before final scheduling. A delivery estimate is only preliminary until the technical conditions are frozen into a feasible material and production plan.
- State whether the order is a prototype, first batch, repeat batch or phased delivery. If phased delivery is allowed, specify the quantity and date of each batch at the order stage.
- Identify witness inspection, reports, special testing and customer documents before quotation, so they do not become additions after completion.
- Confirm domestic or export packing, corrosion protection, storage and transport arrangements, as well as the receiving address, transport method and arrival date.
- Record any post-order change to power, ratio, mounting, shaft or accessories and agree its schedule impact on purchased material and production planning.
The above-98% figure is orders completed on or before the agreed date divided by all orders due during the same rolling 12-month period. Submit complete enquiry information to sales@chinfar.com for a more reliable technical and delivery response.
