SWL — Mounting Configurations

SWL gearboxes support multiple mounting configurations: foot-mounted (B3), flange-mounted (B5), shaft-mounted (B14), and combined variants. All units ship with installation manuals and dimensional drawings.

Pre-installation checks

• Verify shaft orientation matches the order specification
• Inspect for transit damage before mounting
• Confirm foundation flatness and bolt grade
• Check oil fill level (units ship without oil unless specified)

Commissioning

Run-in period: 50 hours under no-load or light-load conditions, then inspect oil condition and bolt tightness. Detailed commissioning procedure is included in the shipment package.
