P — Selection Workflow

Selecting a P gearbox starts with five inputs: motor power, input speed, output speed (or ratio), output torque, and duty profile. CHINFAR's engineering team validates each selection against the load spectrum and operating environment before quotation.

Required inputs

1. Motor nameplate: power (kW), speed (rpm), service class
2. Driven machine: type, daily operating hours, start/stop frequency
3. Transmission: coupling or belt drive, output shaft orientation
4. Ambient conditions: temperature, dust, moisture, ATEX zone (if any)
5. Mounting: foot, flange, shaft-mounted, or torque-arm
