HSM — Lubrication Schedule

HSM gearboxes use mineral or synthetic gear oil per ISO VG 220 / 320 / 460. Oil change intervals depend on operating temperature, duty cycle, and oil type. Standard recommendation: 10,000 hours or 24 months, whichever comes first.

Maintenance points

• Daily: visual inspection for oil leaks and abnormal noise
• Monthly: check oil level via sight glass or dipstick
• Quarterly: verify breather valve is unobstructed
• Annually: oil analysis for high-duty applications
