The ZSYJ series is CHINFAR's three-stage single-screw extruder gearbox family. It serves the same general machine category as ZLYJ but uses a different transmission architecture, so ZSYJ selection and replacement must be verified from its own operating point and interfaces.

ZSYJ is the three-stage single-screw gearbox family in the current CHINFAR technical system. Like ZLYJ, it is intended for extrusion service with a dedicated screw-side output/thrust arrangement, but its transmission architecture is different and must be treated as a separate series.

When a three-stage architecture matters

A three-stage arrangement can be relevant where the required overall reduction or machine layout differs from the two-stage family. The correct decision is not based on stage count alone: the actual power, input speed, output speed, torque, thrust load and installation interface still control the final selection.

Do not infer ZLYJ/ZSYJ equivalence from similar dimensions

Some larger sizes may appear similar in general envelope or mounting scale. That is not enough for replacement. Compare the exact shaft and spline geometry, center height, mounting pattern, thrust interface, ratio, performance point, lubrication/cooling arrangement and required rotation.

Replacement documentation

For an installed unit, capture a full nameplate photo and a dimension set before removal. If the line cannot be stopped for measurement, record accessible mounting-hole spacing, center height, shaft/interface dimensions, coupling type, motor frame, and photos from multiple sides. The missing values can then be identified before manufacturing or quotation.

Commissioning considerations

After installation, alignment, oil condition, lubrication-system operation and unloaded rotation should be confirmed before process loading. Increase load in a controlled way while monitoring sound, vibration, temperature and leakage. Any order-specific operating limits should be taken from the approved technical documentation supplied with the gearbox.
